Dragons have so far experienced a turbulent start to their league campaign, having won only one of their opening three matches, against Team Northumbria last Saturday, and will be hoping that Davies's arrival will provide a much needed boost to the squad.
The Dragons also entertain Worthing Thunder, in a National Cup quarter final game, on Sunday afternoon (4:15pm). This is the first time in the Dragons history that they have reached the quarter final stage of the cup.
Dragons also hope to announce another new signing next week, once negotiations are completed to bring a former player back to the squad for this years campaign.
