Bradford Dragons go third in the EBL division 1 table with a 81 - 56 home win against Leicester Warriors with a 5 game winning streak.
Bradford Dragons now go second in EBL division 1 on points difference after their winning run is extended to 6 wins on the bounce as a big third quarter again gives Dragons a road win at Team Northumbria by 76 - 63. Playing without big man Chris McGrew, injured in the game the night before, Dragons trailed by 8 at the half, but dug deep on defence and a 27 - 8 third quarter surge turned the game around with Dan Foley on 21, Carl Pearson on 16 and veteran Vance Silcott on 13 at the close.
Dragons next game is at home on Sat 7/12/13 against the highly rated Newham Neptune [NASSA] who currently sit fifth in the table and are hot on the heels of Dragons. Not a game to miss if you like your basketball fast and furious and appreciate team defence
Dragons U15 also win 74 - 69 at home against Newcastle Eagles to go top of the EBL U15 north east division [but Sheffield Saints are unbeaten with games in hand]. Buttershaw Dragons U12 win Bradford U12 CVL with a clean sweep Dragons are grateful for the support of ‘Super Spray Paints’, the Tequila Bar Bradford and ‘Joshila Sports Limited’.
