LAWRENCE Brown was left disappointed after Essex Leopards started their season with a 76-68 defeat by Bradford Dragons at Southend’s Garon Park on Sunday.

Bradford Dragons made the long journey to Essex for their latest National Trophy pool game and came away with a 76-68 win after a gutsy second-half performance.
