Bradford Dragons will sport the Taco Bell Bradford logo on the front of both their home and away shirts for the next two seasons.
American food giant, Taco Bell first launched in the United Kingdom during the 1980’s, with a number of stores located in London, which are well remembered today for their wide variety of Mexican menu items. As part of a fresh approach to developing their brand within the UK, the company have recently opened an outlet in Bradford, currently one of only ten Taco Bell restaurants in the UK, as part of the Broadway development in the city centre.
The Dragons start their 2016/17 campaign with a ‘war of the roses’ National Trophy tie against last season’s quadruple winners, Manchester Magic, on 17th September in the Dragons Den, Bradford College Sports Hall, Trinity Road, Bradford (Tip off 6:15pm).
Dragons’ Chairwoman, Deborah Krajniewski commented, “The new front of shirt sponsorship deal with Taco Bell Bradford is fantastic news. We are excited to be working with them, and delighted that they have chosen to work with us for the next two years.”
Replica versions of the new shirt will be available for all fans to purchase through the Dragons online shop from the beginning of the new league season.
Dragons fans will have an early opportunity to see how the Dragons roster is shaping up, prior to the new season in an exhibition match against an American Select side, to be played at Bradford University’s Unique Fitness and Lifestyle Center on Tuesday 6th September, 2016. The game tips off at 7:30pm and spectator entry is free of charge.
