Coach Tamas Okros, head of the Bradford Dragons junior basketball program, has received further reward for his three years of intensive coaching work, across Bradford and Halifax, with five of his young players being selected to represent West Yorkshire.

Bradford based Jabari Edwards (12), who has been a regular in the Dragons under 14's team this season, joins David Ibrovic from Leeds and Great Osgobor from Huddersfield in being selected to play for the West Yorkshire under 13's.  Additionally, Anna Nevison and Felicity 'Fizz' Raud, both from Halifax, but who are regular attenders at the Dragons Crossley Heath satellite club, along with several one day camps run by the Dragons in both Halifax and Bradford, have also been selected for the Yorkshire under 13's girls team.  All five players will be in action for West Yorkshire this Saturday, 16th May, in the Yorkshire selection tournament, held in Sheffield.

Stuart Culliford, chairman of Bradford Dragons said, "We wish all our players success in the Sheffield tournament next weekend and hope that they make the Yorkshire U13 teams. Whatever the result, Coach Tamas can be proud that three years of work with young players has been recognised and that the old adage in basketball, that ‘hard work pays’ off, is still true today."
