
The two sides had already met twice earlier this season, in both the National Trophy and the National Cup, with Manchester finishing both games as convincing winners. However, Bradford’s form has improved recently and they were hopeful of giving a better showing against the Lancastrians this time around.
Bradford opened the scoring and for the first couple of minutes it looked as though the two teams were evenly matched. But a couple of minutes was as long as the equality lasted, as Manchester started to show why they are currently sat at the top of the league table, whilst unfortunately the Dragons equally displayed the defensive frailties that have caused them to struggle so far this season.
