Still not sure what to do with your children over the long summer holidays?
Bradford Dragons Basketball Club play host to their 12th annual Eurocamp, from Sunday 2nd to Friday 7th August. Due to injury and other playing commitments a number of places on the camp have recently become available and the club are therefore inviting new applications to join in the fun. We now have around 5 residential and 5 non-residential places available for the camp from midday Sunday 2/8/15 to midday Friday 7/8/15
Eurocamp is a well-established basketball training camp, now in its 18th consecutive year of providing a top-class basketball experience. It is run in partnership with the world renowned Dr Laszlo Nemeth, Senior Lecturer at Chichester University and Ex-Head Coach to several National teams, including both England Men’s and Women’s teams.
Dr Nemeth brings with him a select, hand-picked team of coaches which this year come from the USA, Spain, Hungary, Norway and the UAE, along with several ex-England players, including the Dragons’ own three-point specialist, Jason Swaine.
Suitable for absolute beginners through to junior international players, ages 10-23, Eurocamp offers an excellent opportunity to learn (and improve) from the very best, whilst also offering the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. This year’s camp in Bradford has taken bookings from Spain, Hungary, Germany, France, Sweden, China, UAE and Kuwait, as well as the many UK players that will be taking part, offering up a truly international experience.
The camp is based at Bradford College’s Trinity Green campus, whilst training and game sessions will also be held at five other local sports halls. Transfers from Trinity Green to the other venues are provided as is a daily lunch and a unique reversible training vest.
The residential price is £320 [includes all meals, extra evening sessions and accommodation] and the non-residential price for the camp is £200. There is a small amount of access funding available for applicants from the Bradford district due to support from Bradford Council for the camp.
